AlarmClock

Do you know that feeling when you start a game, completely lose track of time, and suddenly realize that the pizza in the oven has been totally forgotten? That was exactly the reason why I originally created this app.

The very first version of AlarmClock was built in Basic a long time ago, but that old version no longer works properly on modern systems. So I rebuilt the whole project from scratch in C# as a modern desktop app for Windows.

AlarmClock is especially useful for gamers and for anyone who spends a lot of time at their PC and tends to forget the time. You can set an alarm for a specific time or use a timer, create multiple alarms, give them their own names, and keep them saved even after closing the program.

You can also customize how an alarm is delivered: add your own message text, use a simple beep, play a music file, and enable visual feedback for a more noticeable alert. There is even a test function so you can check your alarm output before relying on it.

AlarmClock also includes an optional minimize-to-tray behavior, an always-on-top setting, several themes, and a free choice of storage location for its settings. The app is completely free to use, but if you enjoy it and want to support further development, donations are very much appreciated.

The app currently supports German and English, and more languages may be added in the future. I am not a native English speaker, though, so parts of the English translation may still sound a little awkward here and there — anyone who would like to help improve is very welcome.
